Grant Robertson began his career in the housing industry in 1974 after graduating from the University of Saskatchewan. He joined Cairns Homes and it was there that his passion for the residential construction industry was formed. His work ethic and dedication to product improvement led to his promotion to Vice President. In 1991 Grant felt his future was best served by striking out on his own and Legacy Homes was created.

Grant's commitment to construction quality set Legacy apart. Referrals grew and Grant was joined in the business by an old friend Bob Brown. Their vision to produce a high-quality home with superior after sales service cemented Legacy's reputation and the company thrived. When Bob decided to retire it was time to take the next step. 

All three of Grant's children grew up learning the “Legacy way” and developed skills in each area of the company's operations. Their interest in the housing industry was always apparent and their differing skill sets greatly complement each other.

Ford is now President of Legacy Homes. He graduated with a degree in Business from the U of S and has worked tirelessly to successfully learn every aspect of Legacy’s operations.

Lee holds the position of Controller for Legacy Homes after completing her degree from the U of S and not only handles the bookkeeping duties but also is very involved in Marketing and Sales.

Clark is the Service & Project Manager for Legacy. After obtaining his degree from the University of Lethbridge he joined Legacy and has amassed a deep understanding of the technical side of the home building process. 

With the company infrastructure firmly set, Ford, Lee and Clark are taking Legacy Homes to the next level while never abandoning the Grant’s original founding principles. Legacy Homes is a family owned business concentrating on the custom home and major renovation markets. In 1991 after several years in the new home industry Grant Robertson formed Legacy Homes. Over the years, Grant built Legacy into the premiere custom home builder in Saskatoon. The company has now passed on to his children Clark, Ford, and Lee who share his passion for the construction industry and a desire to create strong , long lasting relationships with every client..  Combined, this ownership offers years of experience and an enthusiasm for the future.

Even with the passage of time the operating principle at Legacy has remained constant. “Customer satisfaction is only achieved when the client receives true value”. In order for this to be accomplished we must properly combine superior quality, competitive pricing and prompt service.
